- There really isn't much to say about me. I started my life over again and have no regrets about anything save a few things. I have a huge family and a few select friends. I have realized I will be 38 in eight days and I wonder what the hell I have done with my life. To some I have done a lot. To others I have done nothing. To me I think I have done a hell of a lot. And I am still going because I will never learn it all. The things I have come to realize though are probably things I've needed to learn.

Having lived in the DeKalb area it is hard to imagine what everyone is going through. DeKalb , in some ways, is a small college town. Most people I have talked to over the years have never even heard of it. I am thankful though. Thankful my nephew, Jake, who loves the library there, was hopefully home and safe. Thankfull that Sarah had already left campus. Thankful her brother and dad, who were locked down on campus til 4:30, made it home ok. My thoughts and prayers are with my friends and famil… Continue
