the death king

Death

Death

THOUGH DEATH HAPPENS TO US ALL MAY NO MAN NOR WOMAN EVER HAVE TO SUFFER
FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE AS THOSE DID WHO DIED FOR US TO BE FREE IN THE INQUISITION OF THE BURRING TIMES FOR THE THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF WOMEN ANDMEN WHO DIED FOR THEIR BELIEVES....BLESSED BE ONTO AND BLESSED BE ONTO YOU MY FRIENDS WHO WALK THE PATH OF THE OLD ONES

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the burning witch

the light in her eyes flickered like that of a candle flame

her hair a blazing red enhanced by simmering uprising streams of smoke

her voice though twiced with pain still enchanted like a dream

her spirit ever bold and brave as she stood proud before death

as I tried to hide my eyes i could not help but gaze into hers

as she danced in fear and pain there upon the gates of avalon

she twisted and turned in a trance be for man on the burning steak

while al the while she sung to the goddess for her soul to be free

with her eyes on mine her magic touched my very soul that night

throw my eyes I seen the smoke and fire step aside to her wings

for a moment she told me the secrets of the ages only for my ears to hear

she spoke to me like a mother and a lover telling me every thing will be OK

though scored with her torture I could not help but be enchanted

I was bound to her spell as her magic kissed my brow

its touch left me heartbroken and filled with her loss

I know soon it would it all would be over, gone for a while but never forgotten

there was much that she had taught me in that little time

the sky around us holds life's secrets it keeps and sends what we put out

the elements live within us and with out they help aid us

the old ones bless us with gifts of power to heal and protect

what she planted in my spirit I'd cross the cosmos to abid

the faith she gave to me I'd swim the deepest sea to withhold

for the path that she has opened to me I'd walk throw Hades to protect

the love that she has blessed me with no matter what I could never pay back

it often makes me wounder why the dying temptress chose me

then again her parting words haunt me in my dreams

I love you and proudly always will for you are a child of the earth and sky

now I give this life like so many others so one day you wont have to die

for her to day I am free to live my life the way I wish it to be

so today and every day I grid my soul with power

may I always show respect to the old ones and those who came before me

by my will I pledge my faith forever more to the burning witch and all others who had to die for what I believe

hail and so mote it be
