We Lost The Biggest Game Of Our Season!

I play basketball on the freshman team for my high school. On Tuesday, January 20th, we played our cross town rivalry...We played our hearts out and my only post player fouled out. I am the captain and I cried at the end of the game. We lost by one point and my coach was proud of me for crying because she knew it meant a lot to me and I feel like I let the team down because I didn't drive as much as I could of but Coach told me to be patient and by the time I was patient I had a defensive player all over me and I ended up throwing the ball away! It stunk! I hate that we lost and the most stupidest thing ever happened. The Ref. was running down the court a little behind me when I was going back on D and I started crying and he looked at me and said..."It's okay, You got this, You got this," and we still lost. You would think that if a ref. told you that you were gonna win you would be pumped about it right? Nope. I am very disappointed that I didn't knock down more than 1 three-pointer....I could of done so much better. At least I know my team can play hard....and I look forward to our game on Friday!
