What do you think of myspace?

The problem is, that there are to many asshole's on that site that mess it up for all the rest of us, just for friends and networking..I don't agree with you not being able to have freedom of speech and I think that's a violation of our rights....What do you guys think..I love this space cause you can be yourself and or someone who you'd like to change into once in a while....sooo, my hat is off to Caz for giving us the freedom to be ourselves or your to act out your fantacys if need be..what ever floats your boat and makes you happy as you can be.....so thats all I have to say on this patriotic day for the USA...Thanx for listening and please give me some input on this subject, that way I don't think I'm the only one........

Thanks for the kudos. But really the pall bearers really make this place special. Everyone can be themselves completely. I spend a lot of time myself looking at the videos that people post. In March Linda posted almost all the Scrubs videos off of Youtube, I laughed for over an hour.

I also go through the blogs of all our users just to know what they are thinking about. What is amazing to me is that people with real problems get real answers here. If not answers, then empathy. You guys are great.

I've discovered music that I never would have found on my own just by visiting your pages.

Wendy and I don't advertise this site, just one link on the Photocasket page. In 4 months we are at 1400 members just because you want to be here. We are happy to hang out with you.

ell, I do have 2 Myspace pages. One for my own presonal friends and family and the other is devoted to my podcast subjects.

I must have missed the freedom of speech issue on Myspace. Can you tell me more about it?

I do like the easy keep in touch aspect of it.

But, I don't like the spam and the superficial people that you tend to run into. Also, a good bit of HTML won't work on the site.

Your not supposed to have any nudity or cussing and things that are racial..They say it in the I agree part when you decide to open the page..I like the space its just not as good sometimes when you want to speak your mind they can bann you at any time..I've had 2 friends banned cause of political views that they had... its crazy, but it is good for networking with band's which is what I do. you are not the only one who feels this way. I totally agree..I really do love this site better than myspace....I do use SPACE...and as you stated there are alot of people on that site that just do really like to cause problems..I think it makes them feel important. I would also like to say thank you to caz ....anytime I have had a question or a problem accessing a page..he has always acknowledeged it personally....you do not see that on other sites. Thanks for bringing this subject up!!

I have a MySpace page, and there are a lot of troublemakers on it right now. Just set your security a bit higher, and watch your page better. I have mine set so that only people over 18 can contact me; I don't want any parents screaming when they see all of my magickal info on the page. 18, you pretty much know your own mind. Also set your comments for "approve only", that way you control what goes on your page.

i just want to say that i have had my myspace for almost two years and in the few weeks i have been on this site i have aquired more friends and have had more fun than the last two years.... i have some real friends on myspace that i went to school with that didnt give me the support i got from here when i needed it and its made all the difference... when i open my laptop this is the first place i look for new comments and to see what people have posted, its much more interesting and alot friendlier....thats my thoughts
